A Nurturing Sanctuary for Tender Spirits in a Turbulent World – Tiny Buddha

If you’re a highly sensitive person like me, you may have noticed how overwhelming the world can feel at times. We carry so much within us, making it difficult to find moments of rest. It can also feel rare to experience a sense of being seen, safe, and supported.

That’s why I’m honored to share an opportunity that could be truly nourishing for your nervous system, spirit, and sense of hope during these complex times:

Led by Melissa Renzi—a dear friend of Tiny Buddha and this month’s site supporter—this retreat invites you to slow down, reconnect with yourself and nature, and form meaningful connections with like-minded individuals.

You will stay just a short walk from an ancient redwood grove, spending your days engaged in gentle movement, expressive arts, reflective circles, and restorative time in nature.

In this nurturing space, your sensitivity will be honored—not something to “fix,” but a cherished part of who you are.

You will find support in processing the emotional weight of this moment—whether it’s grief, anger, confusion, or hope—among others who truly understand.

Consider this retreat a deep exhale for both body and mind, surrounded by people who resonate with your experiences.

As someone who deeply values time in nature, restorative practices, and meaningful connection—while currently choosing to forgo solo travel while my sons are so young—I share retreats like this so I can live vicariously through you!

If you are seeking to realign with what sustains you in these intricate times, I gently recommend this grounding and healing experience.

There are still a few shared spots available, and a private room with its own bathroom has just opened up!
