Auradine Secures $153 Million in Series C Funding for Bitcoin Mining and AI Data Center Connectivity

Auradine, a company specializing in computing equipment for bitcoin (BTC) mining and AI applications, announced it has secured $153 million in a Series C funding round. Based in Silicon Valley, California, Auradine has also established a new business division, AuraLinks AI, which is dedicated to developing open standards to address the cooling needs of next-generation AI data centers.

AI data centers and BTC mining share similar operational requirements, and as AI becomes increasingly prevalent in everyday discussions, the significance of data centers has gained prominence. This development is relevant to the cryptocurrency sector since many aspects associated with AI data centers can also be beneficial for bitcoin mining.

“Our dual focus on Bitcoin and AI infrastructure places Auradine at the intersection of pivotal technologies that will reshape computing and energy utilization for decades to come,” stated CEO Rajiv Khemani. The recent funding round has brought Auradine’s total funding to $300 million, with the investment led by StepStone Group. Notable contributors include the bitcoin miner MARA, Maverick Silicon, Samsung Catalyst Fund, and Qualcomm Ventures, among others.
