Rockers Biffy Clyro are navigating a challenging situation after an error with their work visa applications has temporarily halted their touring plans. They were set to begin a series of intimate gigs in the United States on December 2, in support of their latest album, Futique.

Frontman Simon Neil took to Instagram to share the unfortunate news, expressing his frustration about the mix-up. He explained in a heartfelt video, “Due to an oversight, the start date on our work visa was incorrect. As a result, we found out that our visas don’t commence until after our planned tour dates.”

Neil expressed his deep regret, saying, “I’m truly sorry for the need to postpone these shows.” The band is currently working on rescheduling the dates for early next year, with hopes for April or May, while assuring fans that current tickets will be honored.

He acknowledged the disappointment felt by fans, especially those who may have made travel arrangements to see the shows. “I completely understand if you wish to seek refunds,” he added. The band, which has experienced its share of challenges, including a previous cancellation due to illness, remains hopeful and resilient.

Biffy Clyro, consisting of Simon and brothers Ben and James Johnston, has been a beloved presence in the rock genre since the 2000s, with timeless hits like “Many of Horror” and “Bubbles.” They have consistently captivated audiences, and with their upcoming shows, they look forward to reconnecting with fans in a positive way.
