Frontman of UK rock band teases potential appearance at Glastonbury 2027.

As we look ahead to Glastonbury 2027, the excitement is building around who might grace the stage. Among those expressing interest is Bush’s very own Gavin Rossdale, who shared his enthusiasm for a potential return. “I thought we did quite well when we played there, but we never went back, so it could be time,” he noted. “I would love to play Glastonbury. I still remember that show. It’s brilliant and it would be 25 years…” he reflected eloquently.
The band’s journey at Worthy Farm began in 1999, coinciding with their performance at Woodstock and the release of their third album, The Science of Things. Their last festival appearance was in 2002, meaning a 2027 show would beautifully celebrate a quarter of a century since they last captivated the audience.

Who is Rumoured to Headline Glastonbury 2027
The acts that bookmakers speculate may headline the Pyramid Stage include Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, and Sam Fender. Other names in the mix are Beyoncé, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Eminem, Chappell Roan, Little Simz, and Fred Again. Interestingly, the odds seem to be less in favour of Lady Gaga, Adele, and Harry Styles.

Gavin shared insights while promoting Bush’s tenth album, I Beat Loneliness, which was released on July 18. He expressed that this album is a heartfelt dedication to everyone navigating challenging times. “This record is really dedicated to all of us who have – which is, by the way, everyone – gone through a lot of things, and are just trying their best to manage under all their own circumstances. Everybody has their circumstances, and everybody has their histories. So when I write a song like ‘We’re All The Same On The Inside’ or ‘Don’t Be Afraid,’ those are soothing songs for myself that I hope resonate with others,” he conveyed gently.
In the same conversation, he cleared up a common misconception about the name of the band, emphasizing that they are not named after Shepherd’s Bush.
