My Chemical Romance fans are filled with excitement as a show at Wembley Stadium appears to be on the horizon for their upcoming UK tour.

The beloved emo rock legends, celebrated for their iconic hits like Welcome To The Black Parade and I’m Not Okay (I Promise), have not graced the UK with their presence since their postponed 2022 reunion tour, which featured dates in Milton Keynes and Warrington.

It seems poised to change soon, with hints suggesting a UK leg of their Long Live The Black Parade Tour, possibly set for 2026. The band—comprising founding members Gerard Way, Mikey Way, Frank Iero, and Ray Toro—is now celebrating nearly two decades since their impactful rock opera, and it won’t be long before we get to join in the festivities.

Recently, the official social media accounts of Wembley Stadium shared a striking photo of the iconic arch illuminated in red, adorned with the band’s enchanting imagery. Fans have understandably responded with excitement, collectively expressing their joy.

‘MY CHEM are going to play Wembley? How wonderful!’ shared @djrustynail. Another fan, @emobuckeybarnes, expressed their eagerness, stating: ‘MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE AT WEMBLEY STADIUM—I would love to be there!’

Expressions of joy continued, with @g0th1cluvr revealing, ‘I can hardly contain my excitement,’ while @bearnellied jubilantly called, ‘Get ready, we’re seeing MCR at Wembley!’

Some fans are hoping for more UK dates beyond just London, with @brettd1981 sharing a heartfelt plea: ‘Please let there be more than just a London date.’ Many echo this sentiment with similar wishes.

As one of the most influential bands of their era, My Chemical Romance released four studio albums and a series of Platinum-selling singles from 2003 to 2010.

The band initially went on hiatus in 2013 after over a decade in the limelight but reunited for a one-off show in 2019. They announced a worldwide tour for 2020, which was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. During this time, they also released their first new song in eight years, The Foundations of Decay, but fans await a new album yet to be produced. The reunion tour concluded in 2023.

In a touching memory, their previous drummer was unfortunately found deceased at his home in November 2024, leading the band to only perform two shows that year.

My Chemical Romance celebrated a return to live performances in July 2025 with their Long Live The Black Parade Tour and have shared plans for more shows in 2026. Recently, they playfully teased fans with a video hinting at their much-anticipated return to the UK.

The video, showcasing a fun game show segment titled Quizzo, had the host jovially proclaim: ‘Congratulations, United Kingdom!’ indicating to all that the band is heading our way soon.

During their peak, My Chemical Romance earned commendations with nine top 40 singles in the UK and released two top 10 studio albums, including the celebrated The Black Parade, which achieved a number two position on the album charts. Their most notable triumph came in October 2006, when Welcome to the Black Parade unexpectedly held the number one spot for two weeks, surpassing popular artists such as Nicole Scherzinger and Girls Aloud.
