Dreame Launches Three New Beauty Products That Mimic the Dyson Airwrap, Supersonic, and Shark FlexStyle

Dreame is on a mission to bring fresh innovation to the hair care industry, joining the ranks of well-known vacuum companies like Dyson and Shark. During a recent event on Aug. 6, the brand introduced three delightful new additions to its beauty tech collection: the Dreame Miracle Pro, the Dreame Dazzle, and the Dreame Pocket Ultra. Each of these products competes in the same market segments as the popular Dyson Supersonic Nural, Shark FlexStyle, and Dyson Airwrap, respectively. While release dates are yet to be confirmed, the Dreame Miracle Pro is already listed on the brand’s website with a “coming soon” tag. I’ve reached out for pricing and further details, and will update once more information is available.

These new releases follow the unveiling of the Dreame AirStyle Pro, which shares a striking resemblance to the Dyson Airwrap and includes six styling attachments (or seven, if you count the different curling barrels). This model is currently available for $399.99.

As I continue my exploration into the best Dyson alternatives, I have found the Dreame Gleam and Dreame Pocket hair dryers to be quite impressive. Though I haven’t tested the latest models yet, I’m excited to share insights into their features.

The Dreame Pocket Ultra retains the thoughtful design of the original Pocket and introduces a few new attachments. This foldable hair dryer provides experiences similar to both the Supersonic and Airwrap. The original Pocket offered a wonderful balance, featuring one curling barrel and a nozzle designed to combat frizz. This compact tool is perfect for those seeking versatility.

With the Pocket Ultra, you can look forward to three additional attachments: another curling barrel (for the opposite direction), a diffuser, and a styling concentrator. Despite needing a little extra storage, these attachments enhance the styling options, especially for those with textured hair. The Pocket Ultra maintains the sleek design of the original, with five styling settings and two air speeds.

In recent years, smart hair dryers have gained attention, with options like the Dyson Supersonic Nural and T3’s Aire IQ leading the way. The Dreame Miracle Pro blends the technology of these models, boasting a digital display akin to the T3 Aire IQ and a scalp detection mode similar to the Supersonic Nural, thoughtfully adjusting speed and heat based on proximity to your scalp. It also includes a red light therapy feature aimed at promoting healthy hair growth—something I’ve inquired more about.

Dreame enhances the Miracle Pro’s functionality beyond current premium choices with an “essence mode” that gently releases a hair mist during styling. This dryer includes four versatile attachments—a styling nozzle, smoothing nozzle, unfrizz nozzle, and diffuser—along with a bottle of hair care essence.

While many products imitate the Dyson Airwrap, fewer replicate the design of the Shark FlexStyle. The Dreame Dazzle embraces the inventive twisting base design, allowing multi-styling both vertically and in an L-shape, akin to a traditional dryer. This model features five attachments, including a diffuser, directional curling barrels, a round brush, a styling concentrator, and what appears to be a gentle air attachment—details I’m seeking confirmation on. Additionally, the Dazzle offers smart nozzle recognition and a digital display, enhancing its usability in ways that set it apart from the Shark FlexStyle.
