Tune in every hour from 6 AM to 8 PM to listen for a special code word. When you hear it, simply text it in, and you’ll be entered into a draw for this generous prize! Just text 416 588 0881 before the next hour’s code word is announced. The more times you participate, the better your chances to win!

If you don’t receive an auto-reply for your text entry, kindly double-check the spelling. If everything is correct, rest assured, your entry is still counted. You might want to try deleting the conversation history, restarting your phone, and starting fresh. Remember, your entries will still be counted even if you clear the conversation history on your device.

Contest Guidelines: This joyful contest runs from Monday, March 31st, to Friday, May 9th, 2025. Participants must be 18 years or older and residents of Ontario within the listening range of the Station. To qualify, you must be able to access the Station’s terrestrial broadcast without using any non-traditional devices. The determination of eligibility will be made by Local Radio Lab Inc. Excitingly, our 30-day rule does not apply to this contest, which means listeners can engage in other promotions too. The odds of winning depend on the number of qualifications. Please note, previous winners of this contest in 2024 are not eligible to participate again.

How to Play: Listen to Indie88 from 6 AM to 8 PM on weekdays to catch the code words. Text the code word to 416 588 0881 before the next hour’s announcement. You may use each code word only once. You have until 9:20 PM EST each weeknight to text in the 8 PM code word from that day. Each Friday, beginning April 4th, The Morning Show will select one qualifier live on-air to award them with $10,000. Winners will receive a cheque for the prize, which must be picked up at the Indie88 Office in Liberty Village. Please bring valid government-issued photo ID, and be prepared to answer a skill-testing question.
