Contest Guidelines

Our heartfelt contest runs from Monday, March 31st to Friday, May 9th, 2025. Participants must be 18 years or older and residents of Ontario within the listening range of our lovely station. For clarity, you should be able to access our station’s FM broadcast without using satellite radio, the Internet, cable television, or any non-traditional listening devices. Whether or not you qualify will be determined by Local Radio Lab Inc. Notably, there are no additional participation restrictions for other Indie88 promotions during this time.

To participate, simply listen to Indie88 from 6 am to 8 pm on weekdays for code words. Text your code word to 416 588 0881. You have until the next hour’s code word announcement to submit it. Remember to use each code word only once and until 9:20 pm EST on the weeknights of the contest for the 8 pm code word.

Every Friday, beginning April 4th, The Morning Show will draw and reach out to one qualifier live on air and present them with $10,000. Winners will receive a cheque reflecting the prize amount, which will need to be picked up at the Indie88 Office located in Liberty Village. Please remember to bring a valid government-issued photo ID, as you will also be answering a skill testing question.
