❄️ Chill

Indie88’s Footwear Drive for the Streets in Partnership with Socks 4 Souls Canada

Mobility is essential for overall well-being. For our unhoused population, maintaining healthy feet is a crucial step toward accessing food, shelter, and medical care. Clean, dry socks can significantly enhance their quality of life.

At Hotnchill, we support Socks for the Streets, an initiative dedicated to providing warmth and comfort through clean socks. With over 85,000 individuals in Ontario experiencing homelessness, this is a time to extend our compassion and support. Together, we can work towards a goal of collecting 100,000 pairs of socks this holiday season.

Join us on Saturday, December 20th, from 10 AM to 6 PM at Dufferin Mall inside, near Walmart. We will be engaging in uplifting conversations while gathering your generous donations.

How can you contribute to our heartwarming holiday goal?

  • Donate Online: A contribution of $10 or $20 can make a significant difference. Consider becoming a monthly supporter—your $20 donation helps provide 40 pairs of socks.
  • Text for Support: Text SOCKS to 20222 to make a quick $10 donation.
  • Donate New Socks: We encourage you to bring new socks (black or white athletic if possible) to our broadcast or leave them at a local participating store.
  • Organize a Sock Drive: Consider bringing your community together for a holiday sock drive at work, school, or among your friends. If you need assistance, explore our resources for organizing a sock drive.

Socks 4 Souls Canada is a primarily volunteer-based organization dedicated to bringing warmth, comfort, and mobility to Toronto’s unhoused individuals. Each night, over 10,000 people face the challenges of homelessness in the Greater Toronto Area. A significant number of their health issues stem from inadequate foot care, impacting their ability to access essential resources. Through community support in the form of sock and monetary donations, we can collectively ensure that these individuals receive the care and comfort they deserve.
