IT: Episode 7 Trailer of ‘Welcome to Derry’ Hints at a Captivating Pennywise Flashback

Are we about to uncover more about the origin of IT’s “Pennywise” identity? In episode 6 of IT: Welcome to Derry, we received intriguing hints about where the creature may have drawn its clown inspiration. Based on HBO’s trailer for the upcoming episode 7, creators Andy Muschietti and Barbara Muschietti’s series is set to explore this theme even further. In the clip, we are transported back to Derry in 1908—two cycles before the current 1962 cycle in the show—where we see Pennywise (Bill Skarsgård) dancing on stage at a fun fair, surrounded by the laughter and applause of children.
