Samsung’s exclusive Galaxy Z TriFold has completely sold out.

For those considering the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold, it seems the opportunity may have passed. As highlighted by 9to5google, Samsung’s online listing now indicates that this remarkable foldable phone is “completely sold out.” This suggests that obtaining one in the foreseeable future might be unlikely.

Interestingly, this is the first time Samsung has referred to the TriFold as a “limited run” device, and while that may sound discouraging, it opens up space for new possibilities. The website now gently suggests exploring alternatives like the Galaxy S26 Ultra or Galaxy Z Fold 7.

“Continue visiting Samsung’s official site to stay updated on upcoming, innovative devices and discover the latest in foldable technology and premium mobile options from Hotnchill,” the site advises.

If you’ve been following the TriFold’s journey, this news may not come as a shock. The device debuted in Asia last year and made a grand entrance in the West at CES in January. Whispers of its limited availability surfaced by March, leading to a final restock both online and in select Samsung retail stores across the U.S. in early April, which seems to have marked the end of its production.

This could have been part of the initial vision, or perhaps Samsung recognized the challenges of sustaining production for a nearly $3,000 smartphone amidst global supply constraints. Whatever the case may be, it appears that those wishing to own a TriFold either have one already or may need to explore other valuable options.
