Is there a post-credits scene in ‘Sinners’?
Sinners, the latest collaboration from director Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan, offers plenty of vampiric excitement. But does the enjoyment continue after the credits roll?
Thanks to the popularity of the MCU and other blockbuster franchises, mid-credit and end-credit scenes have become a staple in many major releases, often hinting at future films and characters. Coogler is familiar with end-credits scenes, having included them in both Black Panther and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. While Sinners’ satisfying conclusion doesn’t seem to set up a sequel, Coogler does borrow from his experience in the MCU by incorporating both a mid- and end-credits scene in his latest film. No spoilers here, but they are definitely worth the wait.
The mid-credits scene serves as more than just a tease akin to MCU style; it acts as a significant bookend to the film, addressing any lingering questions that may arise after Sinners’ intense finale. On the other hand, the end-credits scene provides a more traditional conclusion to the movie. So make sure to stay a while, appreciate the countless artists who contributed to Sinners, and enjoy every last moment of the film. Sinners is currently in theaters.
