A24’s ‘Sorry, Baby’ trailer hints at a charmingly awkward and bittersweet comedy.

A24’s latest film, Sorry, Baby, has the look of a quirky comedy with a serious edge, judging by the brand new trailer out today. Written, directed by, and starring Eva Victor, the movie follows Agnes (Victor), a woman struggling to come to terms with something bad that happened to her three years before. “Bittersweet, brilliant, and heartwarmingly funny, Sorry, Baby is a movie that is sure to find an audience beyond Sundance,” commented a well-known film critic in their review. “And not just because A24 excels in marketing offbeat cinema, but because Victor has a voice that is strong, strange, and demands to be heard.” Naomi Ackie, Lucas Hedges, John Carroll Lynch, Louis Cancelmi, and Kelly McCormack also star.
