Stevie Nicks has announced the postponement of several upcoming tour dates due to a shoulder fracture that requires time to heal. The beloved music icon took to Instagram to share this news with her fans, confirming that concerts originally set for August and September will be rescheduled.

‘Due to a recent injury resulting in a fractured shoulder that will require recovery time, Stevie Nicks’ scheduled concerts in August and September will be rescheduled,’ she shared peacefully. ‘Please note that October dates will be unaffected.’

The Fleetwood Mac legend mentioned that the tour is expected to resume on Wednesday, October 1, in Portland, Oregon. ‘Stevie looks forward to seeing everyone soon and apologizes to the fans for any inconvenience,’ she concluded.

Fans who have already purchased tickets are encouraged to keep them, as they will be honored for the rescheduled shows. Specific details about the new dates and venues will be available through the original points of purchase.

Nicks had initially announced a nine-date tour across the U.S. and Canada back in April, with performances slated for August and October. In response to overwhelming demand, additional shows were later added, including a launch night at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on August 8, along with stops in Hollywood, Florida, and Detroit in September.

October was set to feature her in cities like Portland, Sacramento, Atlantic City, Charlotte, and Hartford.

This news follows Nicks’ recent postponement of her Glasgow gig after undergoing minor surgery for a leg injury. She was scheduled to appear at the OVO Hydro earlier this month but needed a ‘few days of recovery’ following her medical procedure.

In a lovely turn of events, Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham have officially confirmed the re-release of their 1973 duo album, Buckingham Nicks. The former bandmates stirred excitement among fans with matching social media posts in June, followed by the appearance of a mysterious billboard a few days later.

Many fans expressed hope that the duo might finally be on good terms after their long-standing feud. They announced that the re-release of Buckingham Nicks—recorded before joining Fleetwood Mac—will be available on September 19.

For now, fans will patiently await the return of the enchanting frontwoman to the stage. The silver lining? Nicks plans to be back on the road this autumn.
